Hi. I have been researching Abyssinians for a while and I really love the breed and my fiancé and I are hoping to get a kitten or two after we’re married. I stumbled upon this breed when researching less allergenic cat breeds. I know no breed is “hypoallergenic” but I am fairly allergic to most cats and my mom is definitely a lot more allergic. If I were to get a cat she’s allergic to my anbility to interact with my mom would be severely limited.

Hi all, a few months ago (after a lotta research), I made a deposit to a lady for an Abyssinian kitten that would be ready to go by September. I indicated three times during my communications with the lady that I want a male kitten. Now, a few months later, I am notified that the lady has paired me with a female kitten and the male kitten is "spoken for."
I am pretty upset by the entire situation, not just because the lady wasted my time for 3 months but also because I really really wanted a male Aby. I grew up with male Abys until they passed away a few years ago, and was so excited to finally get another male Aby this fall.
Does anyone have advice on this situation? Does anyone have insight into whether or not the gender truly makes a difference? I heavily prefer males, but since the lady notified me so late, I won't be able to get another Aby kitten until probably 6months - 1 year later. Advice or comments on ANYTHING is appreciated... Just unsure of what to do in this situation.
外围体育投注My husband and I love Abyssinian cats and want one to join our family. But I haven’t had much luck connecting with breeders. I was hoping this community could help!
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
