I have a small African violet I received via Etsy and her blooms shriveled up and died en route. I removed the dead flowers and repotted her — not knowing at the time that I should wait. Her pot is almost as wide as the diameter of the leaves. Since that time, two weeks ago, she’s making some new little tiny leaves and her overall size has increased a little. Should I put her back in the smaller pot to help her focus on making new flowers, or leave her to avoid more disruption?
Hi all - one of my young AFs is starting to grow numerous baby suckers around it's crown. I'm a little confused, as I thought this only happens when the plant is stressed/needs more something (light/fertizlier/etc.). I did recently repot into a 4" pot, so that may have triggered it. But, the plant is actually starting to flower, so I do think she's happy - so what's the deal with all the suckers?
