外围体育投注This is something I'm confused by. He manages to break free from the control of the Darkness thanks to Thomas Zane's help, before he finishes the manuscript. Why then, did the Darkness not just possess him again? There are several points in the story where Alan is without any light - why wasn't he just "infected"/ taken? Seems like an easy way to get him to finish the manuscript. The Darkness has no trouble assimilating hundreds of random townsfolk to throw at Alan, but doesn't actually try to assimilate him. Does being touched by the darkness and later freed make you immune to further infection? Is Alice now immune? Is Cynthia?
