Hi there, I am looking for an Allbirds wool model that will keep my feet as warm in my cold office as possible. Which model do you guys recommend? I was thinking the Mizzle Runner-Up since it seems thick and the high top would add some warmth.
I couldn’t find a solid answer anywhere so I contacted allbirds directly. Imagine that! Here is their response.
Thanks for reaching out and asking! Shout is typically what we recommend! To give a little advice for tougher stains, we typically recommend soaking the shoes overnight in cool water, and then hand-washing them with a gentle detergent. If you have a stubborn stain, it could be worth spot treating the area with citrus-based stain remover and repeating as necessary. I personally use an old toothbrush to scrub the spot with a little water and Shout.
When I first heard that Allbirds was a carbon neutral shoe brand that touted that it sold the most comfortable shoes around, I was immediately throwing my money to get a pair. As an overly conscious generation Z adult I know that companies who actually try to be sustainable deserve my money. So if course I ordered a pair of Mizzles to save my tootsies from the onslaught of rain we get for half the years on the west coast.
外围体育投注Shoes arrive. I walk.
外围体育投注Halfway through my walk I feel the back of my heel begin to sting. I probably shouldn't have walked so far while wearing new shoes. I turn around and begin walking home. The stinging worsens further. I keep walking knowing I'll be home soon. It feels like the back of my feet are being bitten by ants. Nearly there. Oh oh oh why did I even leave the house.
I get home.

Did I order the wrong size? Mabey. They said size up though. Oh well I'll just return them and get a smaller size. Besides, the return is free which is nice.
Send shoes back.
Two weeks pass since last wearing allbirds.
I got my first pair today and they are so so comfortable! But the liners squeak like crazy. Has anyone experienced this? Did it go away? Is there a troubleshoot for it! If this is just the norm there is no way I can keep them :(
