I delivered a package today to a customer and I made the mistake of dropping it on the customer deck. The customer came out and confronted me on it and I admitted to my mistake and apologized. At first I felt bad because I was in the wrong but I owned up to my mistake and said "you're right I apologize" probably 4 times after they kept berating me. Finally, this women had the nerve to threaten to take a picture of me and send it to amazon, after I had apologized and admitted she was right like 4 times. At what point does this turn to: you're just a miserable person and am taking it out on the amazon guy? After a couple of more apologies, I said, "I really don't know what else you want me to say, I have admitted to my error and apologized". Like I understand customer service is important, but miserable people really fucking make this job suck, especially when they don't understand that I have 180 stops on my route lol. Sorry for the rant.
