I totally miss going out really often. I used to walk Pacifica really often at the pier. Since the quar I've been watching a live stream I found of it. Sigh calms me while working. What other local live streams are there that are awesome?

外围体育投注The one I'm watching atm. They have like 3 different angles haha. You can literally see people fishing the pier. I guess it's useful if you want to figure out water conditions to fish as well.

Backstory: My roommates and I moved out of our apartment about a month ago and spent the entire day prior to our move-out cleaning the apartment. Fast forward to about a week ago our landlord finally gets back to us saying they are deducting $300 for cleaning fees and $1200 for painting fees due to non-wear & tear damage to the unit. We feel we are being wrongfully charged here and want to take them to small claims court over this.

外围体育投注We believe that the "damage" to the unit that they are claiming should fall under normal wear & tear and should not be deducted from our deposit. I'll admit there are some very small holes in the walls due to hanging frames & posters as well as some small paint spots on areas where we tried to cover up some damage. But we did indeed clean the unit properly and feel that they are simply charging for fees that they'd normally be responsible for in order to get the unit re-leased. We are looking to get the entirety of our deposit back, or at the very least lower these deductions as they seem absurdly high for the amount of "damage" they are claiming.

外围体育投注None of us have experience in small claims court so I am asking the following:

  1. What is the process like?

  2. Based on the above info, how strong is our case?

  3. Could taking them to small claims court somehow backfire and end up costing us more than the $1500?

  4. Are there any better/more effective means of resolving this matter?

Any help would be much appreciated here. Thanks everyone.

EDIT:外围体育投注 To add, they refused to do an in-person move-out inspection & walkthrough with us due to COVID.

As the title says, where are the restaurants that don't charge 20 bucks (~30 with delivery app surcharges) for a tiny 4 bites rectangle of food?

Just because restaurants are forced to switch to a takeout/delivery model doesn't mean skimping out on portions if they want returning customers.

I have a few good ones, but I want to expand my food choices for when I'm not feeling Thai all the time.

I see a lot of apartments in Daly City/ San Bruno/ Millbrae/ Burlingame come without air conditioning. How bad does it get without air conditioning in these areas? Can one survive with just a portable fan?

外围体育投注Edit: thank you all for your replies, I guess it’s not a bad idea to see if I can find an apartment with air conditioning but to not worry if I don’t find one.

外围体育投注7/11's have shut their machines down. In&Out does milkshakes but looking for a slushy or shaved ice kind of situation if it's going to be super hot tomorrow too.
